A Hancock County sheriff’s deputy was arrested Thursday after investigators accused him of using Flock license plate cameras to track his wife, a former girlfriend’s family and another man.
James Heneghan, 33, faces 220 fraud counts, 220 official misconduct counts and one intimidation count. Investigators say he ran 6,196 Flock searches from December 2024 through March 2026, many while off duty. The sheriff’s office has placed him on unpaid leave. The allegations have not been proven in court.
