GRANBURY, TX — After another stretch of triple-digit heat, early forecasts are showing noticeably cooler weather arriving in Granbury next weekend.

Temperatures are expected to remain near 100 degrees through the middle of the week before gradually falling. Current projections show a high near 94 degrees Saturday, followed by approximately 91 Sunday and 89 Monday.

The biggest change could come overnight. Granbury’s low is currently projected to fall to around 64 degrees Sunday morning.. roughly 12 to 14 degrees cooler than this weekend’s nighttime temperatures. Lower humidity may make the air feel even more comfortable.

That would represent a daytime drop of approximately 14 to 16 degrees from this weekend’s 105-degree heat.

The National Weather Service’s official Granbury forecast currently extends only through Friday and still shows highs near 98 degrees. The stronger cooldown falls just beyond that official seven-day window, so residents should treat the numbers as an early projection… not a guarantee.

It may not mean summer is finished, but Granbury could finally get its first real taste of fall. 🍂
